D&D Question

Category: Deactivation & Decommissioning > Dismantlement & Material Disposition
Published: 8/11/2011 Last Updated: 8/15/2011

I am employed by LATA Environmental Service of Kentucky, LLC in the D&D Organization and have been asked to find an answer to the following question. What is the standard industry practice for Asbestos Abatement and building demolition when the building contains transite siding; 1) is the transite siding hand removed before demolition or 2) is it mechanically removed prior to demolition or 3) is it left intact and removed as part of the demolition of the structure? If you could get back with us as soon as you can, we would very much appreciate it. Thank you,
