EPA Characterization Plans

As I recall, the U.S. EPA is currently conducting just such a survey of the old SSFL site near Canoga Park, CA. I contacted them to get a copy of their Char Plan and they responded with the following: I am attaching the Soil Characterization Field Sampling Plan for the Santa Susana Field Lab. EPA's role was to characterize the radiological exceedances above background. We have several other investigations we conducted, including the background study, sediments, groundwater, gamma survey and the geophysical survey. All the documents are located on the EPA webpage for your ready access.
