NUKEM is a supplier of uranium to nuclear utilities and acts as market intermediaries in the physical markets for uranium, conversion and enrichment services. NUKEM buys and sells uranium in the form of U3O8, uranium hexafluoride, and enriched uranium product (EUP), which is the “commoditized” form of uranium used to make fuel for commercial nuclear reactors. Services include mining, conversion, enrichment, non-standard uranium processing, supplying uranium for research reactors, and providing isotopes for nuclear industry, medical applications, semi conductor industry and other applications.
