RADBlock is a strippable coating designed for use in dirty bomb mitigation and remediation, where it is effective at locking down contaminant and preventing transport by wind, air, and smearable transport. It mechanically and chemically traps contaminants and can be peeled to remove contamination in a solid waste-form. This coating mitigates ionic forms of radionuclides, such as cesium and iodine, which are known to be easily transported into surfaces.

Benefits

May be applied using a variety of spray equipment to facilitate very large scale applications. Removed by stripping.
