LTC 1072 Pn Vacuum Blasting Machine

The technology model LTC 1072 Pn is a vacuum blasting machine with a dual nozzle capability. This machine works on the principle of dry abrasive blasting and a mechanism of simultaneous recovery of the abrasive and the waste generated. This technology is configured with a compressor linked to cooler dryer unit, which in turn is linked to the machine. The air requirement for the LTC 1072 technology is 1300 cfm at 150 psi. The LTC 1072 Pn consists of a dual pressure chamber vessel, two vacuum generators (each having a built in venturi), two primary filters, an optional HEPA filter and a scaled half drum for emission free waste disposal. The newest addition to the LTC 1072 Pn is the Concrete Filter Cleaning Valve (CFCV). This valve increases the continuous blasting time between two filter cleaning pauses for the 1072. Thus, with the CFCV, the continuous blasting time on concrete is increased to 30 minutes or longer (instead of the 15 minutes blasting time if the CFCV was not used). Additionally this technology can be retrofitted with optional electronic controls that would enable the operator to program certain function to enhance the already stringent safety features. These features would include automatic shut down at individual blast heads, during the blasting operation if the blast head were accidentally displaced away from the surface or if the differential pressure across the filters exceeded the programmed maxima. The skirts on the blast heads can be changed to adapt to different surface geometries. Low levels of airborne particles creates a safer working environment. Auto recycle of media. Two or even three blast heads can be attached to one base vacuum blasting equipment, thus increasing productivity. No size limitation on parts to be stripped. Systems are modular and require minimal set up time. The system can be adapted to remove a single layer of paint or a near white metal finish. A variety of accessories and attachments can be adapted to the nozzle to cover interior corners, end corners and thin metal edges.


Cannot blast on wet or moist surfaces. Can damage delicate substrate. Skirts limit nozzle accessibility to all surfaces.
